The company was formed in 1974 by Tom Eakin, a pharmacist. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength and now supplies ostomy and wound care products around the world.
In 2007, TG Eakin Limited acquired Pelican Healthcare a leading UK supplier and manufacturer of specialist stoma and feminine health products. TG Eakin Limited are now pleased to have the opportunity to expand their international product range with Pelican Pouches. Research & Development teams within the 2 companies have come together to ensure the production of innovative, quality products.
Still a family owned and run business, TG Eakin Limited always ensures that patient needs are incorporated into their product design, providing comfort, protection and ease of use.
Quality is of the utmost importance at TG Eakin Limited, the company is registered as meeting the requirements of the ISO 13485:2003 standard. The staff take great pride in producing the top-quality products and high levels of quality and hygiene are evident throughout the premises.
The company has been recognised several times for its achievements through being awarded the UK Small Business Exporter of the Year and the Northern Ireland Small Business of the Year.
